A very important event is behind us!
On February 21, new elections of the Board of the Polish Potato Association were held in Pikutkowo.
The main point of the meeting was, of course, the election of a new Chairman of the Board of the Association, after Dr. Wojciech Nowacki – the founder and member of the Board since 2002 – resigned.

Over the past 21 years, the Association has helped thousands of farmers, attended hundreds of meetings and actively participated in the fight for the welfare of domestic producers, processors and any entrepreneurs associated with the potato industry.

During the General Assembly, members of the Association thanked Dr. Wojciech Nowacki, and in recognition of his work to date and the creation of one of the largest potato organizations in Europe, he was appointed “Honorary President of the Polish Potato Association.”
Following the vote, a new Board of Directors and Audit Committee were also appointed.
Kamil Maniak – managing director of Omnivent with many years of experience in management and team building – became the new Chairman of the Board.
Andrzej Ostrowicz – founder of the family company BUGAJ, which has been in the potato business for nearly thirty years – became Vice President of the Association.
New board members became:
Michal Dabrowski – a specialist in potato cultivation from the PROCAM company
Wanda Gwara – director of the Contracting and Buying Division at Przedsiębiorstwo Przemysłu Spożywczego PEPEES S.A.
Agnieszka Płotka – Director of Operations and Finance and Member of the Management Board of AGRICO Poland, and Chairwoman of the Seed Section of PIN
Karol Piekutkowski – Farm Manager at @Farm Frites Poland Dwa.
Marcin Piekarski – Sales Department Specialist at the breeding company
Zamarte Potato Breeding Company
New composition of the audit committee:
Stefan Jankowiak – Member of the Board of Directors of the 1,500-hectare Jagrol Sp. z o.o. farm in Pierzchno near Kórnik (Top Farms Group)
Wieslaw Grudzień – Individual farmer and expert of the Federation of Industry Associations of Agricultural Producers
Piotr Górski – President of the Polish Potato Group, specializing in the cultivation and distribution of potatoes
